Vintage Stable
The Challenge
Recreate a vintage Midwestern barn, using oversized beams to give the appearance of post-and-beam construction.
The Project
A returning client of DeLeers, this couple was looking for a high-end stable and lofted apartment. In keeping with the client’s vision, every effort was made to replicate a vintage barn, including masonry base, standing seam galvanized metal roof, massive cedar beams, and hand-painted interiors.
The hayloft has been “converted” into a one-bedroom guest apartment complete with kitchen.
